On November 9, the Guangzhou Branch and the Infrastructure Branch of China State Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau jointly conducted an annual assessment and specialized training for personnel on the white list for large-scale equipment (tower cranes and elevators) at the headquarters of AISUN Company. As the event organizer, AISUN Company attached great importance to this collaboration. From venue setup and process coordination to staff guidance, the company worked closely with China State Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau’s overall planning throughout the entire event, leveraging its professional organizational and coordination capabilities to ensure the efficient and orderly progress of the activity. This event aimed to thoroughly implement the requirements outlined in the Bureau’s “Guidelines for the Installation and Dismantling Management of Large-Scale Machinery,” using rigorous qualification reviews and dynamic verification mechanisms to continuously standardize safety management in key operational processes involving such equipment. As a key member of the white-list system, all 32 professionals from AISUN Company who participated in the assessment successfully passed the series of evaluations, thereby maintaining their white-list status. A Gathering of Hundreds to Promote Safety Improvement The assessment involved more than 130 professionals from seven leasing companies, employing a systematic evaluation process to enhance management through inspection and foster learning through training. The assessment comprised four critical stages: Orderly Registration: Setting the Tone At the outset of the event, all participants arrived punctually at AISUN Company’s headquarters and completed registration in an orderly manner, establishing an efficient and well-organized foundation for the entire session. Online Testing: Building a Solid Theoretical Foundation The first stage of the assessment was an online theoretical test. All candidates took the exam simultaneously via their mobile devices on-site, covering core knowledge such as installation and dismantling standards for large-scale machinery, safety operating procedures, risk identification, and emergency response protocols, thereby comprehensively strengthening their theoretical grounding. On-Site Interview: Precise Verification Following the theoretical assessment, the crucial on-site interview phase commenced. Huang Wufei, Manager of the Safety Supervision Department of the Guangzhou Branch of China State Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau, and Huang Dingjie, Business Manager of the Infrastructure Branch, served as interviewers, conducting random spot checks and face-to-face discussions with personnel from each organization. The interviews focused on the Bureau’s latest management guidelines, practical operational essentials, and awareness of safety responsibilities, with comprehensive scoring based on professional question-and-answer exchanges to ensure that personnel consistently meet high-standard requirements. Specialized Training: Deepening Understanding After the interview assessment concluded, Peng Binbin, Business Manager of the Guangzhou Branch, chaired a specialized training session on key safety management points for critical operations involving large-scale machinery. Through policy briefings, case studies, and experience sharing, the training further deepened participants’ understanding of safety management priorities, effectively transitioning them from “knowing what” to “being able to do” in practice. Building Safety Together: Continuous Improvement The successful completion of this annual assessment not only underscores the high level of attention that China State Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau pays to the safety management of large-scale equipment, but also provides a valuable platform for exchange and learning among all participating organizations. As a long-standing registered white-list entity, AISUN Company has always strictly adhered to safety management regulations and once again passed all assessments with professional performance. All participating organizations will take this event as an opportunity to continuously refine their safety management systems and jointly elevate the overall level of equipment safety management.
